Myenergi Zappi Glo EV Charger Installation in Ipswich

A homeowner in Ipswich contacted Oxbow Electrical through our website for a quotation to install a tethered EV charger.

We supplied and installed a black myenergi Zappi Glo on the external wall adjacent to the driveway, providing convenient access for charging at home.

Supply checks and DNO approval

The property had a looped electricity supply. We notified the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) of the supply arrangement and obtained approval for the installation.

We also checked the property’s earthing and bonding as part of our installation and testing procedures.

Installation and protection

The charger was supplied from the existing consumer unit using EV Ultra cable. We installed Type 2 surge protection and a double-pole Type A RCD within that consumer unit.

The installation also included myenergi load management through the Zappi Glo.

Testing and customer handover

Installation, testing, commissioning and customer handover were completed during the same visit. We demonstrated how to use the charger before leaving.
