Myenergi Zappi v2.1 EV charger installation in Ipswich.
We installed a white tethered Zappi v2.1 at a semi-detached home in Ipswich. Customer wanted the on-unit display and a reliable unit.
The existing consumer unit was not suitable for the new EV charging circuit, so we installed a separate, dedicated EV distribution board alongside it. The new circuit includes Type A RCBO protection, surge protection, and load management, providing a compliant dedicated supply for the new charger.
The supply was routed via the loft and dressed down neatly beside the rainwater pipe, with the final section concealed under the sill to minimize visual impact. Fully tested and certified same day.
